Eva Adams

I began in Publicity and Promotions for WEA Records in Sydney. After 5 Years I moved to London where I worked for 3 very large International Record Labels touring globally with international acts such as Bon Jovi, Lionel Richie, Kiss, to name a few.

Oh, the stories I could tell… but I won’t.

The role entailed coordinating with the band and local record companies on their media strategies for their album campaigns and tours. This experience was invaluable. Working with big music personalities honed my ability to listen to clients and get a good “handle” on whatever is needed, particularly when it comes to talent. Also being on the road, makes you really think on your feet when problems arise.

As for me, I’m a real people person with a fun sense of humour.

Your greatest professional achievement?

I think being involved in really big global promotional campaigns for huge music acts was my highlight. But also knowing when to pull the proverbial plug and leave to start a new career in the Speaking Industry.

What I love about being a part of the ICMI team

ICMI is like my family. I love them. And I love dealing with people. I learn something new every day and am inspired by our amazing speakers. My colleagues are pretty great, too.

What is my typical weekend?

I like to go to the beach with my Jack Russell “Ollie”. Catch up with friends… socialise, read, eat, have a glass of wine or 2. However, I do have housework to do, too. But that can wait.
